I wanted a keyboard mouse combo that had good range so I could use it when my laptop was connected to a T.V. This combo does an excellent job with the long range, and it doesn’t need to be line of sight. The mouse has an on off switch to save on batteries. The keyboard has a nice touch to it when typing, like the other reviewer noted there is no light to tell when caps lock is on, but I tend to read what I type so it isn’t a problem.
If I had to find something to complain about it would be the mouse is larger than I like, and there is no built in dongle holder in either the keyboard or mouse to store the dongle when not in use.
I actually like this combo better than the Logitech that I have connected to my desktop, and I just may get another to replace the Logitech. I was considering getting this from Newegg,but they wanted almost for shipping. This is the third item I have bought from [...] and they have been great.

I thought this would be a nice keyboard and mouse set for the home entertainment system. Keys have a good feel. Mouse is BIG but light weight has 5 buttons. Lots of media center type of buttons on the edge of keyboard. I wouldn’t use this set up for my main PC, for gaming or at work but should be good for my application.
CONS: No caps/num/scroll lock lights. No holder for the dongle.
Pros: Keyboard & mouse range is well over 30 feet, even through walls. Comes with Energizer batteries.
Edit: After using for a week I have found the mouse will not track well on any dark surfaces, tracking on a dark wood tracking is very poor. Glass not at all. Will need to use a mouse pad >:( Mouse also randomly sends a signal back to the PC. This causes the menus on Windows Media player to come back up when watching a movie in full screen. Very annoying.
Final Edit: Replaced with a Logitech set, sold this on eBay.

Final Final Edit: No one would buy it on eBay with a starting price of 20 bucks including shipping! I guess people on eBay are smarter than I though. Donated to GoodWill. Just happy to have this POS out of my house!
